What a nice breakfast place in south lake tahoe. My friend and I enjoyed our meals. Service was great. It is connected to a hotel. There is street parking available. Overall food and drinks were delicious. It is away from the heavenly village which I liked because it can get a little crowded at the village area.
Great breakfast. Clean environments and nice location. Perfect spot before hiking up the Mountains. Very hearty!
Maggie’s is a super cute tiny elevated restaurant. The food it absolutely delicious. I could eat that salad all day every day. They have vegan options which we very much appreciate. Drinks are great. Service was great too. Will be back.
First, let me say I have written only 2 restaurant reviews before and I felt compelled to write this one. The food was delicious. The wait staff was SO wonderful. They allow for dogs inside and outside — as long as they’re well behaved — and WOW what an incredible atmosphere. We loved our truffle fries and short ribs. Our pup baby loved his chicken bowl that they kindly offered. We will be back. Thank you to Maggie’s for being such a wonderful date night and willing to include our doggo as well!
By far the fanciest small restaurant in Tahoe. The food was incredible. Short rib, duck cassoulet, salmon. Great friendly service as well. Come here for the atmosphere and for the food.
Maggie's is located on the 3rd floor of the Desolation Hotel. Street parking can be a bit tricky, but it's well worth the effort. The food is truly great, the Prosciutto-Wrapped Baked Brie is an absolute highlight! I’m honestly not sure why it's listed as an appetizer, as it’s substantial and delicious enough to be a meal on its own.
Holy crap!! What a great spot! I went on a Friday night, no reservation, but they made a spot for me and my two dogs! They had a dog menu and I got the beef bowl for my boys. The food was amazing, had the truffle fries and artichoke pasta. The staff was so nice. My Theo kept jumping on them, so annoying, he's not usually like that, but they just loved on him instead of getting annoyed, though I'm sure they were. Literally the best little spot in south lake tahoe. Cannot recommend enough!!
The place has a gorgeous atmosphere and interior design. The food is as delicious with several options to choose. We order Maggie’s omelette, Short Ribs beanies( it was something out of the ordinary. the meat was soft and tender covered with mushroom sauce and pouch eggs perfectly cooked)and a classic breakfast. Everything delicious. I definitely recommend the place and will com back again.
I loved the rib beni. My caramel latte was divine. Very sunny day for outdoor dining, but we lucked out with an umbrella table. The kids both enjoyed the yogurt parfait, but my son said it could use less pumpkin seeds in the granola. LoL
A great spot on the Lake Tahoe map. Delicious breakfasts and dinner dishes. Unique flavors and high-quality ingredients—all of this makes this place truly worth visiting. The staff is friendly, warm, and they really go the extra mile. Because of that, everyone can feel well-cared-for and special. Having breakfast on this terrace is absolutely amazing!
